Decorating!

Now that all the family has left we've rearranged the kids rooms again so we can set up the crib and get ready for Mason. Dell has decided that he wants to keep his bedroom downstairs, so we've done some more funtiure moving and painting. The bunk beds that went downstairs before Christmas have come back up to Ellie's room and the crib has been set up in her room as well. Ellie chose to paint the wall next to her bed pink and we found some really cute wood flowers and butterflies to hang along with a plaque that has her name on it next to her bed. For Mason we painted the wall next to his crib a light green and found some Jungle themed figures and hung them with is name plaque above his crib. Dell wanted to paint his room green and hang airplanes because that's what Grammy said he should do, so we did it( well sort of). We painted one of his walls green and the other blue, because planes don't fly in a green sky they fly in a blue sky. So we bought him some wood planes that we painted them all sorts of fun colors and hung them with a name plaque for him as well. I think it tuned out rather cute and the kids seem to like the results too. Which is always a good thing.

January Fun!

We've had a busy month with the last of our company leaving on the 13th and then we took JD up to Park City then next day so he could work at their Sundance event. He had a lot of fun, and even met a few famous people. Here are a few pictures of all the fun we've had this month.

Christmas Pictures

I'm trying to be on top of things and get cards and pictures out early this year, because Christmas is going to be crazy around here with all of JD's side of the family coming to celebrate with us. Great Grandma Carter is coming from CA, as well as Cassie and her kids, then Mom and Dad Carter and Ammon from AZ, and JD's older sister Aunalies with her Husband and kids from KS. I'm not sure where we're going to put them all, but we'll make it work. We're very excited that they all wanted to come to our house for Christmas. So I took some pictures of the kids today so I can go make prints and get them in the mail, but here's a little preview of what's coming your way.

Just a Little Crazy

So in my last post I mentioned that I was finally able to get a new digital camera, and I liked it, but then came the Black Friday Deals and I had to have a better one. Target did a 2 day sale with the Kodak 10.3 Megapixel camera that I really wanted originally, but didn't have the $150 to buy it so I went with the lesser 9.1 Kodak. So there started my wild goose chase I called every Target from Ogden down to South Salt Lake and everyone was sold out. To say the least I was a little bummed, but I'm a "little" stuborn so Sat. afternoon I came home and called the stores again, and it was my Lucky Day a store in South Salt Lake just found 12 that they didn't know they had, so we loaded up the car and off we went. I got the Camera and I LOVE it, and it was only $89.99 cheaper than the first one I bought. So below are some of the pictures that I took when we went to Temple Square to see all the lights after our shopping trip. Enjoy and I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Happy Birthday Ellie Mae!

Our sweet little Ellie Mae had her 3rd birthday yesterday. I can't hardly believe how fast the time has gone. She is a wonderful little girl and we are so blessed to have her in out family. She weighs in at a whopping 30 lbs and is 36 1/2 inches tall. Everyone tells us she's so little, but she's average for her size although I think she's going to be petite like her Aunt Aunalies and Aunt Cassie.

In other good news I have a camera again so I will be posting pictures from her birthday and more often as we go through the holidays.
