Fun Pictures

We were apart of a business fair this last weekend promoting the new business that we are working on for the summer. It's going to be a craft fair/farmers market/live music/family fun event on Tuesdays at the Main Street Park and we're trying to get the word out. The woman we are working with is a photographer by trade and was taking pictures as well. My kiddo's got to be her models so to speak when her flash was going it attracted more people over and well Ellie was more than willing to help her out. She dressed up in so many different outfits I can't even count the boys on the other hand were not so willing but she did still get a few good shots of each of them. I'm going to have her print some more out for me, but she made me a disc as well. They are so cute ENJOY!!!

T- Ball

I signed Dell up for T-ball of month or so ago and he started playing last week. It has been a lot of fun going and watching his team play. It is not very organized and most of the kids don't really know what they need to do, but fun none the less. Tuesday's game was just a comedy of errors, there were a few kids who were coming for the first time and one little boy hit the ball and when the told him to run he ran to the ball and laid on top of it, and his brother did the same thing when he went to bat. They don't usually call kids out if they were lucky enough to get the ball to the base before the runner and all the kids get to bat and the last one gets to run like he hit a home run. He has really enjoyed it.

Lesson's

Miss Ellie got a bit of a tough love lesson this week. We were at our local thrift store the other day looking for some large spoons to make wind chimes with and when I was looking she put a compass in her pocket. I had no idea until several hours later Dell made a comment about wishing he could have got something like Ellie did when we were at the store. Rite then I knew that something was not rite so I asked what do you mean. He says Ellie got a compass and I didn't get anything. Oh boy why would she do such a thing. When asked why she did it she said " I don't know" when asked did you know it was the wrong thing to do she says "yes". So she has spent the day in her bedroom and then we took her back to the store where she had to return it and apologize for taking it. The woman at the store was very nice and appreciative that she came back and told the truth and apologized. Hopefully this has taught her a lesson and we won't have to so this again.

MONSTER TRUCKS

The radio station that we listen to has been promoting a Monster Truck for the last several weeks and Dell asks if we can go ever time to commercial comes on. The other day he asked how much it costs to go and I told him it would be expensive but we'd see about it, and he told me but Mom the radio says it's cheaper than going to a movie. Well that's true, so yesterday we went and got the tickets and headed to St. George to enjoy the show. Ellie kept saying the moving is going to be so good, I had to keep telling her it wasn't a movie that she was going to see real monster trucks. To say they had a good time would be and understatement they LOVED it, all of them Mason just hung out and watched I was worried about how loud they are but it didn't seem to bother him at all. In fact he actually fell asleep during the first half with the all the LOUD noise going on it was really loud. We got to walk down to the "Pit" area before the show and take pictures with the truck and the kids got their flags signed by the drivers. A good time was had by all and I'm very grateful to our wonderful new neighbors that went as well which made it so much easier for me as they sat with us and stayed with one kid while I took the other to the bathroom.

Boy Got A New Bed!

Last week someone mentioned that there had been a crib recall on one similar to what we use, so I went and checked it out. I am so glad I did after reading through all of the recall info I found that our crib has been apart of 3 recalls and I had no idea. So we took the crib apart took it into Wal-mart they refunded us our money and we went and picked out a new one. I really like it and I like that it doesn't have the drop side they were convenient but we hardly used them and come to find out they were dangerous.
Even with this awesome new bed he was so tuckered out this is where he ended up:
