9 Months

Our little man is not so little anymore he's 9 months now It's just amazing to me how fast they grow. He wears 12 month clothes we a few things in the 18 months sizing he is a big boy. He's going to out grow Ellie soon if he keeps up this pace he's a little over 23 lbs and 29 inches. He crawls everywhere and with the wood floors it's really funny to watch him when he's excited or mad because he slaps the floor as he crawls. He pulls up to stand all the time now and is standing by himself for a few seconds here and there before he hits the floor.

I was trying to get a nice picture of the kids the other day, but Ellie insisted it was too cold to participate so here is a cute one I got of the boys.

Nativity

When Bella moved to N.M she gave us a beautiful old Nativity that her mother painted. We set it up this week and we just love it. We're not doing a lot of decorating this year as I'm sure Mason would try to pull it over and take all the ornaments off and we're going to be in AZ for Christmas.

Lessons Learned and Thanksgiving

On our way to St. George for Thanksgiving we stopped in South Salt Lake to pick up a car that Mom and Dad bought to take it down to save them a trip up North. It ended up needing a new battery so we went over to the tire place and waited for the new one to be delivered. Dell went in with Daddy and started playing and swinging on the arms of the chairs well on one of his back swings the chair gave a little wiggle and down Dell went face first flat on the floor. He came out crying and ended up with a HUGE fat lip a bit if a red spot on his forehead and a little bloody nose. Needless to say I think he's learned his lesson about swinging on chairs.

We had a nice Thanksgiving with friends. I didn't really take any pictures other that the one of Mason enjoy the Blueberry cheese cake. He ate some stuffing, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes and he enjoyed all of it. I did do a little black Friday shopping but I didn't go out super early. I was able to get each of the kids $3 PJ's and a coat, sweatshirt and Lego Blocks for Mason for under $35 I didn't think that was to bad at all and really there wasn't to many people.

Awesome Gift

JD helped out neighbors move out of their house this weekend and we got and awesome gift out of the work. Last year they bought enough laminate flooring to do their basement and only did half of it. So when they were packing up and the flooring was still in the middle of the room they offered it to us. It was so generous of them to give it to us and it was a lot of flooring just over 400sq feet which should be enough to cover the large room in our basement that is currently concrete. JD has been hard at work most of the day laying it down we are hoping that it will give a little more warmth to the floor and that the kids will like playing down there more.

Birthday Girl

Say it ain't so my little Ellie is not so little anymore. She turned 4 today and I can't tell you where the time has gone she is the best little girl and we are so blessed to have her. She can bring a smile to my face even when she's in trouble or has made me mad. We had a really nice day. Today was the Primary Program at church and she did an awesome job with her part she spoke cleared than all the other kids put together it was great. We were a little scared that she wouldn't say anything which is what she has done in the past but she got up there and spoke like a big girl. This evening we had a picnic on the living room floor and ate all the things she asked for then we had cake and ice cream and opened presents. A Big Thank you to all her Great Grandma's for your beautiful cards and gifts, we were able to go out and get her several new outfits. As it seems she grows out of all of her clothes this time of year it was really nice to get her some clothes that fit her better.

New Bike

A few weeks ago a neighbor called us while we were out running errands and told us that a little boy was messing with Dells bike and they scared him away, only to come out of there house a few minutes later to find that he had come back and taken Dells bike. So after a few weeks of waiting and hoping either we or the cops would find it we went and got him a new bike today. It's a little bigger than his old one, but I think he will be able to ride it longer and he really likes it. Thank you Grammy for the early Christmas present he loves it and it will be well used.
