Ride a Bike

Miss Ellie has graduated from training wheels to the 2 wheeler. It took her a little while to get it, she was struggling with steering and peddling at the same time. If she peddled she'd crash because she wasn't watching where she was going or she's quit peddling and steer then she'd fall over because she wasn't moving. She's got it down now and loves to go out and ride.

Preschool

Ellie had a great year at preschool. She had an end of year program below are pictures from through out the year as well as a few from the program. She is very excited about starting Kindergarten this fall.

Easter

The kids had a great time dying eggs for Easter.

Our sweet boy is almost 3 months now and the time is just going too fast. He's an amazing 

little boy and we're so happy he's apart of our family. He's starting to really talk to 

us and he giggles at us too.

Well not quite, but we're on our way.  We now have 6 chickens for eggs, and 3 bunnies for fun. I'm not planning on adding anymore animals, but we are looking at getting several semi dwarf fruit trees to line the back of the yard. I don't want huge trees so these should work great. We're getting an apple, peach, pear, cherry and maybe a plum or nut tree.

Family Fun

We picked up a basketball hoop a couple of weeks ago and it has been non stop fun for Dell, Ellie has fun too but Mason just loves it when you pick him up so he can shoot it. Half the time he throws the ball before you even get him up in the air and then he giggles like crazy. The trampoline is still the greatest thing in the world for Mason he escapes out the back door as soon as he can in the morning and all I hear all day is Jump Jump.

Farm

Ellie's preschool got to go to a local farm the other day so we tagged along. She has chickens, pigs, a milk cow, 500+ sheep, a couple of horses, and a dozen or so beef cows that we got to see. It was interesting to learn about the animals like her milk cow gives them 6 gallons of milk a day unless she's just had a calf and then they get 10. I can't imagine what you'd do with 42-70 gallons of milk a week and she didn't say anything about selling it. She had so many baby sheep it was amazing each sheep can birth 1-4 babies a pregnancy and I think we saw 1 carrying 4 she was HUGE. All in all fun was had by all and I think they learned a little too.
