These don't happen very often, but when we got home today I asked if we could set up for a family photo and amazingly enough everyone agreed and we only had to take 2 to get a good one.

Merry Christmas
We hope you are having a very Merry Christmas. This has been a magical Christmas for us as we got the best present, we closed on our 1st home just 3 days before Christmas. It has been a mad house to say the least trying to get into the new house and out of the old but we did it.
Thank you to all of our wonderful family who sent gifts and $ for the kids. They truly have had a great Christmas and we Thank You for that. Here are a few of the happenings from this morning.
Our kids must have behaved well this year as Santa brought them each a gift they were really wanting. Dell got a new scooter, Ellie a unicorn pillow bet, and Mason got the new Buzz Light Year.

Birthday Girl!!!
As we celebrated Ellie's 5th Birthday today I am amazed at how fast the time really does go by. I can't believe that she is 5. She has had a wonderful day it was her turn to take the snack bucket to preschool today so she chose some of her favorites and then she gave all the kids in her class a glow in the dark bracelet.
Our wonderful neighbor has been taking a cake decorating classes and made the greatest Castle cake for her she was just delighted. We did cake and ice cream and presents tonight. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful family for all the love and presents that she received.

Happy Halloween
We had a cold and blustery day yesterday which turned into a cold and blustery evening but the kids had fun none the less and they were so cute. JD got the kids great outfits in Hong Kong and Halloween was the perfect place to showcase them. Ellie was a Geisha, and the boys were Samurai Soldiers.

Boy oh Boy
We are so excited that we are expecting another baby in our family in early February. We had an ultrasound done last week and it looks like we're having another BOY. Dell is delighted, but Ellie is a little disappointed she was really hoping to get a sister as we plan on this being our last. the name we have chosen is
Zane Rockwell.
Walk-A-Thon
Dell is attending a wonderful charter school here and he loves it. The fall fundraiser for the school was a Walk-A-Thon which was great it encouraged the kids to get out and move and do something good for their bodies as well as raise money for new outdoor equipment for the school. Dell walked 8 1/2 miles for his school and raised $160. We are very grateful to those who sponsored him and helped out his school.
This is what he looked like running around the field
Operation Office
JD got some strict instructions from his boss last week that he needed to have an office to work in where he can really dedicate himself and get away from all the noise. So he did it, the last 3 days have been filled with lots of pounding, banging, mudding and taping, texturing, painting and installing a floor. He now has a wonderful space in the basement where he can go to work and not be disturbed. We are very grateful for the company he's working for and they paid for all the material to get the job done so it was just sweat labor for JD. Here's his progress.
