Merry Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve down with JD's parents last night and had a wonderful time. The kids love talking to Grandma Great and they helped her make some cookies. Grandma made each of the kids a soft flannel pillow case with the plan of making them each a blanket to match for their
 birthdays this coming year.
Dell read us "The Miracle of the Wooden Shoes" and he wants to read it to us each year
I think this is a wonderful new tradition for our family.

We are enjoying a quiet Christmas at home this year, well as quiet as you can get with 4 happy kids enjoying their new Christmas presents. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful family we love each and everyone of you.

Ellie's 7th Birthday and Thanksgiving

Ellie's birthday fell on Thanksgiving again this year so we had a big celebration. My Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandma and Cousin all came to spend the week and we had a blast. I know this is a birthday that she won't soon forget.

Vetrans Day

Dell and Ellie had a Vetrans Day program at school this year and with the help of their amazing Uncle Ammon we were able to arrange a surprise. They had been asking if Uncle Ammon could come home for the breakfast and program from the day they started practicing the songs. The day before my Mother in law called and said Ammom was given extra time off for the holiday and he was going to come home. I kept this little bit of information to myself and surprised the kids at the program, they were so excited to see him.

Busy November

November was a busy month for us. JD spent 12 days in South Africa working on setting up export for the company he works with. He had a really great time and got to do and see some amazing things.

 Table Top Mountain

Halloween

I made the Halloween costumes for the kids this year and they went as 4 of a Kind.
They looked great and got so many compliments.

Mason took of his costume as soon as he saw the food table so I didn't get a picture of him.

Fall Colors and Pictures of the Kids

The colors this year were just beautiful so I loaded up the kids and we went for a drive up the Mountain and stopped to take some pictures of them on the way back down.

Just want to Ride a Bike

Dell taught Mason how to ride his bike with out training wheels in Sept and he has been unstoppable ever since. He loves to ride but is not happy that he can't keep up with the big kids those little wheels do nothing for his speed. I'm not sure I could ever get my legs to move as fast as his do.
 YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
Love that learning to ride lean
