This amazing, sweet and wonderful boy made me a Mommy 9 yrs ago today. We are so blessed to have you, you made us a family where we used to be a couple. You are such a smart young man and we are so proud of you. You are a great big brother, and your siblings adore you. Love you to the moon and back and so much more.

Rough and Tumble
Zane and Mason were playing in their room while I was on the phone this morning and Zane ended up with a pretty big boo boo. I still can't figure out what he did or how he did it but he came out with blood coming out of his mouth. After calming him down and cleaning him I found the boo boo he tore the frenulum in his mouth (the little thing that attaches your upper lip to the gums above your front teeth) and tore the gums away from his front tooth and the one next to it. After doing some online research I called the dentist to confim that there was nothing that could be done and we just had to wait it out. She said mouths heal really quickly in young children and if the teeth are ok no movement or discoloration (his are fine) then he will just need a week or so to heal and to rinse with warm salt water to help keep it clean and heal faster. Needless to say it was a long afternoon but it doesn't seem to be bothering him at all, and I'm thankful it was nothing major.

He's 2 say it isn't so!!!
My sweet little boy is now 2 I don't know where the time has gone. He is such a wonderful little guy he loves everyone and has never met a stranger he waves and says "hi" to just about anyone we see. He had quite the growth spurt this year at his 1 yr he was 18lbs 4oz and in the 6th % and now at 2 he's 27lbs 6oz and has made it to the 15th %. He is a true force to be reckoned with he is strong and will let you know when he is not happy at all or overjoyed. Zane is such a wonderful boy and the perfect fit for our family he adores his siblings and they love him to pieces. He loves to curl up in Daddy's lap to watch cartoons and has the best giggle when daddy tickles him. I love him deeply and treasure each and everyday I get to be his Mommy!!!

Merry Christmas
We spent Christmas Eve down with JD's parents last night and had a wonderful time. The kids love talking to Grandma Great and they helped her make some cookies. Grandma made each of the kids a soft flannel pillow case with the plan of making them each a blanket to match for their
birthdays this coming year.
Dell read us "The Miracle of the Wooden Shoes" and he wants to read it to us each year
I think this is a wonderful new tradition for our family.
Some Grandma great snuggles Pillow Cases
We are enjoying a quiet Christmas at home this year, well as quiet as you can get with 4 happy kids enjoying their new Christmas presents. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful family we love each and everyone of you.

Ellie's 7th Birthday and Thanksgiving
Ellie's birthday fell on Thanksgiving again this year so we had a big celebration. My Mom, Sister, Aunt, Grandma and Cousin all came to spend the week and we had a blast. I know this is a birthday that she won't soon forget.

Vetrans Day
Dell and Ellie had a Vetrans Day program at school this year and with the help of their amazing Uncle Ammon we were able to arrange a surprise. They had been asking if Uncle Ammon could come home for the breakfast and program from the day they started practicing the songs. The day before my Mother in law called and said Ammom was given extra time off for the holiday and he was going to come home. I kept this little bit of information to myself and surprised the kids at the program, they were so excited to see him.
Busy November
November was a busy month for us. JD spent 12 days in South Africa working on setting up export for the company he works with. He had a really great time and got to do and see some amazing things.
